For insurance agencies

An assistant for your insurance agency that calls leads and reminds about premiums, politely.

Scandum · 2 September 2026

What it costs today

Leads from a campaign are called once and forgotten, premium due dates pass because the reminder was a note in someone's diary, and the agent spends the evening returning calls instead of closing.

We have no sourced figure for this trade, so this page prints none. The research page carries the numbers we do have and how each was arrived at.

A worked example

A week at a two-agent insurance office

  1. 01

09:05: a lead from the health-plan landing page. The qualifier calls within the minute, in Hindi, and asks family size, age band, budget and who decides.

  2. 02

09:10: it fits. A call with the agent is booked for tomorrow at 11:00; the confirmation goes on WhatsApp.

  3. 03

Monday: premium reminders for the month go out, dated, with the payment link, in each customer's language.

  4. 04

Wednesday: a customer pays. The reminder sequence for that policy stops at once. A disputed amount goes to you and nothing more is sent.

  5. 05

19:00 each day: the evening note. Leads called and qualified, premiums collected, the one policyholder who needs you.

Acted data on a stand-in insurance agency; the product is real. Outcome rows and how each is verified are on the proof page.

What it says

One sentence, in the caller's language.

Hello, your policy premium is due on the fifteenth of this month. Shall I send the link on WhatsApp, or should the agent call you?

The same sentence is said in Hindi or English when the caller opens in one of those. Every call begins with a one-line disclosure that it is an AI assistant.

Questions

Questions insurance agencies ask.

Is there an AI calling agent for insurance leads in India?

Yes. The Lead Qualifier calls each campaign lead within the minute, asks the four questions you set, and books a call with the agent. It checks the do-not-disturb registry before every dial and never runs a promotional script without your DLT registration.

Can it remind policyholders about premiums?

Reminders for a premium the customer owes are service messages, which the rules allow. The Collections Assistant sends them dated and polite, inside business hours, and stops on payment or dispute.

Will it sell a policy on its own?

No. It qualifies, books and reminds. Advice and the sale stay with the licensed agent; it never quotes a premium that is not on the record.

Honest line

We have no figure for what an agency loses to unworked leads or missed premium dates, so none is printed here. The qualifier is shipped; the collections loop is in the lab.
