Terms, kept short on purpose.

Scandum · 2 September 2026

This page covers using this website and the demos on it. The work an AI employee does for your business is governed by the order and agreement we sign together, not by this page.

These are plain-language terms of use, not legal advice, and they have not been drafted by a lawyer. If you need something contractual before working with us, ask and we will send a proper agreement.

Who you are dealing with

Scandum is a company based in Hyderabad, India, building AI employees and the suite they work inside. “We” and “us” mean Scandum; “you” means whoever is using this site. Reaching us is one address: contact@scandum.com.

By using this site you accept what is on this page. If you do not, the honest answer is not to use it.

What this site is

A description of what we build, the research behind the numbers we print, and an invitation to hear it. Nothing here is an offer capable of acceptance or a guarantee of a particular result. The prices on the pricing page are the prices we publish; scope, timelines and anything bespoke become real in a written order signed by both sides.

What we build keeps evolving, so a page describes the product as it stands when written. Every page says what is available now and what is in the lab; the capabilities that apply to your setup are the ones confirmed in your order.

Demos are demos

Several things on this site are sandboxes, and we label them as such wherever they appear:

  • The demo line is answered by the AI receptionist for a stand-in business. It books into a shared demo diary that forgets its entries within hours. It is not a booking system, nothing on it is confirmed, and you should not tell it anything you would mind a stranger hearing.
  • Any acted call, transcript, record or figure marked as acted or stand-in is exactly that: an illustration of how the product behaves, not a recording of a real customer.
  • The twenty-quotes offer is handled by us during working days on a best-effort basis. We aim for two working days; that is an aim, not a guarantee.

We ask one thing in return: do not abuse them. No automated hammering of the demo endpoints, no attempts to break in or scrape at volume, no using someone else's phone number, and nothing unlawful, abusive or deliberately misleading. We rate-limit these surfaces and may remove entries or block access without warning.

What you give us when you write

Anything you send through a form or by email stays yours. You give us permission to read it, store it and act on it for the purpose of replying and working what you sent, and nothing more. How we handle it is set out in the privacy notice.

Please do not send us confidential material before we have an agreement in place. If you need one first, ask; we would rather sign an NDA than receive something we should not have.

Our side of it

The words, design, code, recordings and the Scandum name and mark on this site belong to us. You are welcome to read it, quote it with attribution, and link to it; the research page says how to cite it. You are not welcome to reproduce the site wholesale, pass our work off as your own, or use our name and mark to suggest an endorsement that does not exist.

Third-party names on the comparison pages belong to their owners and are used to describe those products fairly, from their public pages, on a stated date. Their appearance is not a claim of partnership.

When an AI employee goes to work for you

If you hire one, the deployment is governed by the order and agreement we sign, which covers ownership, support, data handling, consent notices and payment far more precisely than this page can. Where that agreement and this page disagree, the agreement wins.

One point worth stating early, because it comes up: the AI employee answers on your number, writes to your workspace's records, and those records are yours. We do not hold your customers hostage, and you can take your records with you.

No warranty on the site itself

This website and its demos are provided as they are. We work to keep them accurate and available, but we do not promise they will be uninterrupted, error-free, or right about every detail at every moment; an AI demo in particular can say something odd. Do not rely on anything here as professional, legal, medical or financial advice.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or its demos. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Links out

We link to other sites: a competitor's pricing page, a product we integrate with, a study worth reading. We do not control them and are not responsible for what they do with your information. Their terms apply once you are there.

Changes, and which law applies

We update this page as the site grows, and change the date at the top when we do. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated version.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
